Description and Features
The Mantis front-mounted mower arm by Hymach is ideal for mowing grass and shrubs along roadside verges and embankments, both on the right and left sides of the vehicle it is installed on. This versatility is due to its hinged arm with a 185° rotation angle, mounted on a sliding carriage along a horizontal guide.
The rotation system is particularly user-friendly and can be adjusted directly on-site without the need for special tools. The arm can be stowed on either the left or right side, as the equipment folds neatly within the vehicle’s profile, maintaining a compact configuration for both right-side and left-side operation. The Mantis is currently available with a length of 4.5 meters.

How it works
The 360° rotation of the cutting head allows operation even in reverse driving direction, provided the carrier vehicle is equipped with reversible steering. The arm’s articulated system enables work on both sides in all positions, starting from the front position, with the arm extended as needed, without obstructing the roadway.
